Our North Bay location has an on-site lab where we cut and fit lenses into frames.
Are there any benefits to having a lab on-site?
Yes! After we receive your lenses, we can edge them while you wait. Our average wait time is about 30 minutes, but if you do not have enough time to wait you can always drop off your frame and we will call you as soon as they are ready.
We also carry single vision stock lenses in our lab that can be used to help you see again as soon as possible – though some restrictions may apply.
Also, by having our own on-site lab, we can pass along the savings to you!
What types of lenses do you cut in your lab?
We edge all types of lenses from single vision to bifocal to progressive. We also take care of both clear and sunglass – depending on your prescription.
Who does all of this work?
Our team of highly trained professionals use the latest in edging technology and rely on their years of experience to administer this complex process. With a lot of attention to detail required, they’re more than up to the task of giving our customers the best quality in glasses. If you want to see more about the technology we use, please refer to our video!
Can I use my own frame?
Definitely! It happens to all of us – there’s a frame that you’ve grown to love but just want a new prescription. We can order your lenses and when they arrive at our location we can set up an appointment to cut new lenses for you while you wait – though some restrictions may apply.
